Well here is part 2 of the 52 Week Saving Challenge. Yesterday, I talked about the 52 Week Penny Challenge, and how it is a great way to start saving. That challenge is the easier of the two that I have for you. The second challenge is the 52 Week Dollar Challenge. It has the same basic concept, that you save a certain amount of money each week and it accumulates over the course of the year.
With the 52 Week Dollar challenge the total that you accumulate at the end of the year is $1,378.00. It is not a large sum, but for those who struggle to save each year, this is also a great way to get started.
52 Week Dollar Challenge
With the Penny Saving Challenge, we were challenged to save a penny for the number of the day of the year it was. So, Day 25 we needed to save $0.25 that day. The 52 Week Dollar Challenge is slightly different in that the amount that you save each week corresponds to the number of the week. For example, Week 1 you would only need to save $1. However, in Week 26, you would need to save $26. So, the dollar amounts are higher than in the penny challenge, but your total at the end of the year is more rewarding. I’ve mapped out the 52 Week Dollar Challenge for you to make it easier to follow.
